

Selanjutnya hasil akan ditampilkan dalam bentuk table untuk memudahkan pembacaan data. Selanjutnya survey akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kuesioner dan juga penelitian akan melakukan crosschek dengan buku ajar untuk menyesuaikan dengan hasil survey. Setiap sekolah diambil 2 guru bahasa inggris yang mengajar dikelas 8. penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengambil data dari guru SMP didaerah DIY, sample yang diambil di pilih dari 15 sekolah di DIY. Dengan fakta tersebut maka evaluasi terhadap buku ajar ini perlu dilakukan.ĭesain penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi. Dengan dikembangkannya buku ajar ini berdasarkan kurikulum 2013, seharusnya buku ini memenuhi kriteria yang ada di kurikulum 2013. Buku ajar ini digunakan oleh seluruh SMP di DIY karena merupakan buku wajib dari pemerintah untuk membantu menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Buku ajar yang akan dievaluasiadalah buku ajar untuk kelas 8 SMP. Buku ini merupakan buku yang disediakan oleh pemerintah untuk keperluan belajar mengajar, mengacu terhadap kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap buku ajar When English Rings a Bell yang merupakan buku pokok bagi guru untuk mengajar di tingkat SMP. The Teachers View on “When English Rings a Bell” as The Compulsory Textbook for 2013 Curriculum ( A Case Study at Junior High School In Yogyakarta ). 2)The textbook doesn’t properly teach about listening, reading, writing, and speaking skill. The textbook doesn’t provide character developer. 4)The methodology that use in this textbook. 2)The textbook is well designed by its appearances. They are: 1)The approach that use in this textbook. This textbook according to the survey result, in some aspects is very effective and ineffective in some other aspects from the survey result there are some strength of the textbook based on the teacher’s view. For the government as a material evaluation of the textbook that will be published later. By reading this research is expected teachers more selective in choosing teaching materials to fit the needs of teaching and learning. The result will be displayed in table form to make it easy when reading the data. Next the survey will be carried out in the form of questionnaires and also researchers will do crosscheck with the textbook to adjust to the survey results. 2 English teachers who teach in 8 grade was taken from each school. This research is carried out by taking data from junior high school teachers in Yogyakarta area. The design of this study is an evaluation research. With the development of this textbook based on curriculum 2013, this book should meet the criteria in the curriculum 2013.With these facts then the evaluation of this textbook needs to be done. This textbook is used by all junior high school in DIY as a textbook from the government to help implement curriculum 2013.
